TalentWorksLA was founded in 1982 by Harry Gold. A former professional actor, the agency was conceived from that perspective. 

 

Originally entitled Harry Gold & Associates, then Gold, Marshak, the Agency was finally and permanently re-named TalentWorks in 2004.

 

At that time, it combined with the likewise well-regarded agency HWA in New York and maintains that east coast office under the direction of veteran agent Jay Kane.
